New to the forum. Quick question… Just purchased a 2010 MEP-803A from GL. There is a white label on the refueling end of the GENSET that reads the following:
Generator, Modified
MFG: OU5N7
P/N: 47013025
Can someone tell me what modification was done?
Thanks in advance. Jack in Key West
There was a TCTO change to the auxiliary fuel filter. Basically the removed the old metal inline filters (which clogged a lot) and replaced them with a larger clear plastic inline filter. The filter is located behind the panel. If you don’t ever plan on using the Aux connection to a larger fuel source, you don’t need to worry about it.
