      Generator ran but loaded up on cylinder 1&2, put new injector pump in and pulled #1 cylinder fuel line. Rotated engine to TDC on intake on #1 cylinder and to the PC mark. Rotated engine and fuel doesn’t come out until 2 inches past PC and shuts off around 3 inches past PC. Any ideas?

      P.s. the old pump had no numbers on it, the new pump did. Was told by a local service center to just put the #12 timing button back on and should run. I have a full set of timing buttons but I know none of them will make a 3 inch difference. It had and still has 3 shims on it.
