Generator an 803 a will start and run all day when load comes on the engine runs down and starts heavy smoke will not run up to stay with load does anyone have this happen
Could be many things… Make sure your entire fuel system is clean (filters, lines, fuel tank). It needs more fuel under load, so if it calls for it and can’t get it, it will bog down.
Poor compression or air restriction are possibilities too.
Obviously, I have no idea what your load is on the unit. I am assuming it’s reasonable and within spec.
