New Alternative MEP002A-MEP003A Rheostat Variable Resistor Wirewound with Narrower Shaft (Read Description)

This is a new modern replacement for the original rheostat used on MEP002A and MEP003A and many Onan generators. NOTE: The shaft size on this unit is SMALLER (.125″) versus the original LARGER (.25″). The stock knob will NOT FIT and you will need a new knob to fit on this shaft. In addition, you may have to sleeve the threaded bushing that fits through the panel so that the rheostat will not wobble or shift. We recommend sleeving it with plastic tubing or some other non-metallic material. We sell a high quality knob here.
