Fuel Gauge used on many different military diesel generators including 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 100, 200 KW generators. Essentially the entire TQG series uses this fuel gauge. The original military manufacturers (Beede Faria) no longer make this model meter. We have found an even higher quality civilian meter that operates in the same Ohm range to deliver very accurate fuel levels. This will work with the stock fuel sender on the TQG line of generators. Please note THIS IS NOT A MILSPEC unit, but a functional equivalent, so no certificate of compliance with a milspec (i.e. Beede) number will be provided.
There are 3 terminals/wires plus 2 terminals/wires for lights on the meter you will receive:
If the marking is: – or #1 or Blue, this is the NEGATIVE/GROUND wire.
If the marking is: + or #2 or Red, this is the POSITIVE wire.
If the marking is: S or #3 or Black, this is the SENDER/SENSOR wire.
The #4/Orange and #5/Yellow wires go to optional red or yellow lights, which are NOT used on the military generators. These can be ignored.
For military units, you will need to use the included 24v resistor on the + or #2 or Red (this is the POSITIVE wire). This is for the 24v military voltage.
