This is a glow plug for the engine head for MEP002A and MEP003A units. Before winter hits, check your glow plugs! This is a milspec very hard to find exact replacement for your glow-plug on MEP-002A and MEP-003A units. Be extremely careful in removing and replacing your glow-plugs. If the end is enlarged due to excessive voltage and heat, the tip can break off into your cylinder head, which will require an expensive and time consuming head removal. Search on your favorite search engine for tips to remove old glow plugs. The #1 is to use PB Blaster over multiple days prior to attempting to loosen the glow plug. Let time do work prior to tinkering. The extreme heat that the glow plug is subjected to creates chemical reactions that like to fuse the glow plug in place. Patience and PB Blaster (or equivalent).
Note: MEP003A units use 4 glow plugs; MEP002A units use 2 glow plugs
