MEP002A – MEP003A Timing Button for Onan DJ Series, Ambac M50 Injection Pumps including 50-2/4A-80A-9540A. Both new and most rebuilt pumps are sold without the timing button since each engine/pump combination must be individually timed and will require a unique button. You can find free manuals on our website to show you how to time your engine/pump as well as install the pump. Look under “Manuals” in our menu and then select “AMBAC M-50 FUEL INJECTION PUMP: 50-2/4A-80A-9540A MANUALS”.

Note: You MUST choose one of the 16 button sizes based on your engine/pump’s timing requirements. Note that the # value is NOT in order of thickness! The order of thickness, from thickest to thinnest is the following:

#16 = .134″

#15 = .131″

#14 = .128″

#13 = .125″

#12 = .122″

#1 = .119″

#2 = .116″

#3 = .113″

#4 = .110″

#5 = .107″

#11 = .104″ (standard)

#6 = .101″

#7 = .098″

#8 = .095″

#9 = .092″

#10 = .089″
